The oil cooler for the BMW S 1000 XR sits low and open right behind the front tire, making it dangerously susceptible to kicked up debris. Protection for this essential part of your bike is a necessity, and with the AltRider Oil Cooler Guard you get maximum coverage, all with a clever design that still allows essential air flow.

Made of 1/16 inch anodized aluminum, it tucks neatly over the oil cooler and attaches with 3M high-temp VHB, rated to 300 degrees Fahrenheit. The guard’s subtly styled louvers were designed to protect and deflect debris, while encouraging maximum air flow to the oil cooler. The piece creates a seamless appearance that complements the matching AltRider Radiator Guard.
