Retro styling with a powerful engine in a modern chassis, and that’s just beginning to describe BMW’s R nineT. This popular roadster was meant to be customized, and one of the easiest upgrades to make right off the bat is to install an AltRider Oil Cooler Guard.

Engine oil is a motorcycle’s lifeblood, and all it takes is a piece of flying debris from the front tire or another vehicle to damage the oil cooler. That’s why AltRider engineers carefully designed the Oil Cooler Guard to provide full protection to the vulnerable piece while maintaining exceptional airflow.

The Oil Cooler Guard is laser cut from a piece of 5/64 in (2 mm) thick aluminum. The louver design improves rigidity against bigger hits while funneling airflow for superior cooling. The Oil Cooler Guard is available in silver or black anodized finishes and is compatible with the R nineT, R nineT Scrambler and R nineT Pure models.
